Wizkid, Burna Boy, Others Can’t Do My Kind of Music – Nonso Amadi

Nigerian musician, Nonso Amadi has revealed why Wizkid and Burna Boy can’t do his type of music.

Amadi admitted that the duo are his source of inspiration.

He stated this in the latest episode of the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Shopsydoo.

The ‘Tonight’ crooner said, “I am not making the same music as Burna Boy and Wizkid and others. I’m making music that I love. I’m inspired and influenced by them but there is a Nonso Amadi that anybody can.”

He said he isn’t trying to be a duplicate of any established artist, adding that he has been building his own unique musical style and personality.

He advised young artistes to avoid being copycats, stressing that they need to stand out.
