Woman arrested for stabbing barman to death over N200

A 32-year-old woman, Riyanatu Musa, has been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command for allegedly stabbing a barman, Yohanna Musa, to death over N200 debt in Yola.

This was disclosed in a statement by the spokesperson for Adamawa Police Command, Suleiman Nguroje.

He stated that the suspect, who is a sex worker had stabbed the deceased in the chest over N200 balance of liquor she bought from him.

“She confessed committing the heinous crime by saying she had collected dry gin known as ‘big ben ‘and Yahoo” from the deceased, and promised to pay the following day after paying the sum of N1,500 remaining the balance of N200, before engaging themselves in a fight resulting in her stabbing him with a knife in the chest to death,” the statement read.
