Woman nabbed for stealing over 50 tins of sardines

A woman has been publicly paraded after she was allegedly caught stealing more than 50 tins of sardines, which she had hidden inside a large bag.

The incident was shared in a viral post on TikTok. In the video, the suspect is seen tied to a door to prevent her from escaping, while onlookers filmed and posted the footage online.

The stolen items were also displayed in the video, revealing that the woman had filled two large backpacks with tins of sardines.

She was seen pleading as residents prepared to hand her over to the authorities.
