Women are stuck in abusive marriages because they listen to the Holy Spirit – Nigerian woman says

A Nigerian woman, Victoria Nkechi Mgbor, who has been married for 26 years said that women are stuck in abusive marriages because they listen to the teachings of the Holy Spirit on marriage.

“Women listening to the holy spirit about their marriage keeps them stuck in very abusive marriages unfortunately,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

“I don’t have the strength to wait for the holy spirit before I fix a man’s bullshit, sorry for my language. That’s why the most abused women are found in churches and mosques trying to please God and the man. Count me out please. I wasn’t cut out to be mistreated or abused, ask my husband and children. It’s been 26 years.”
