Fashion label Maison Mimi releases it’s resort 2016- a five piece collection that features an array of prints in edgy and casual designs. Inspired by her travels, the collection is adorable.In the accompanying press release, the designer states the inspiration behind the collection:

“ This collection is a literal expression of the season’s travel collection. The lightness of the silks juxtaposed with the weight of neoprene, cotton & lycra. She travelled with hard sided luggage & her iPhone. When she landed Ataturk Int’l, the wind in her hair like the floating silk tunic. The structure of her pants becomes her luggage and the bustling of the city become her footsteps. During the day, she sails the bosphorus.. At night, she’s At Reina.. her destination is Istanbul “

Made with silk, neoprene, cotton and lycra, the collection features an animal print crop top worn over white high waist pants, a kimono paired with boot cut pants, a long sleeve knee length dress, a loose fitted blouse with shorts and a v-neck top & matching shorts.
