The recent KO against Al Rayyan ended the Egaran’s dream to revalidate the title in Qatar.

El Al Sadd coached by Xavi Hernandez lost 1-0 to Al Rayyan in a Qatari league match and said virtually goodbye to all hopes of winning the league title in Qatar. 

Xavi managed to champion with Al Saad in his last season as an active footballer raising the league title but he will not be able to link with another state championship unless there is a miracle. 

It means Xavi should manage to erase the 10-point gap in the last 5 games that separates him with the leader and the six that distance him from the second.
