Zicsaloma recounts losing jobs over facial look, advises people to consider cosmetic surgery

Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Zicsaloma, has sparked conversations online after advising people to consider cosmetic surgery if they can afford it.

The skit maker, whose real name is Isaac Aloma, recently opened up about undergoing a rhinoplasty (nose surgery) to enhance his facial features.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Zicsaloma revealed that he once lost several job opportunities because of his looks, a situation that deeply affected his confidence.

According to him, appearance plays a huge role in the entertainment industry, and people should not feel ashamed about improving theirs through safe medical procedures.

“If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it,” he said. “Some people lost chances in life just because of how they looked. If it will make you feel better, go for it.”

His revelation quickly went viral, attracting mixed reactions from fans. While many praised his honesty and courage to speak openly about cosmetic enhancement, others criticised him for “promoting vanity.”

Zicsaloma, however, maintained that self-improvement should never be condemned, adding that confidence is key to success in show business.

The comedian also hinted that he might consider other minor facial procedures in the future, emphasising that he now feels happier and more comfortable in his skin.
