Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane has welcomed back two Real Madrid stars ahead of the clash against Real Valladolid on Wednesday at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium.

Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio are included in the Real Madrid squad to face Valladolid after spending some time on the sidelines.

Asensio suffered a scare with his knees during his Spanish call up while Hazard is still not quite right after his ankle problems last season, but both players are fit again and they are ready to play.

Toni Kross will be absent for Real Madrid due to the muscular injury he sustained on Saturday against Real Betis in their last La Liga outing.

Zidane will be banking on Luka Modric to carry out the creativity in the midfield while Martin Odegaard would be deployed in a deeper role.

Karim Benzema will lead Real Madrid offensive play as he would be out to help the team earn the three points against Real Valladolid.
