The problem started after Fulani herdsmen injured a native of Nike which caused the Youths of the community to retaliate by killing one of the herdsmen operating in the community.

The witness who lives in the community said, the Fulani herdsmen wrote a letter to the community telling them they would avenge the death of their member.

Today, masons who were carrying stones near community secondary school Umuchigbo saw Fulani herdsmen coming and started running which caused students and workers in the secondary school to join them.

This finally caused chaos and few people even got wounded.
