400-Level Cross River State University Student Shot Dead



A 400-level University student of Cross River State, Calabar, Unicross has reportedly been shot dead.

MySchoolnews reported that the student was allegedly killed by DSS agents.

The inciddnt forced students to scamper for safety, as a team of soldiers and other security personnel arrived at the school while the corpse is still lying on the ground.

Meanwhile, when contacted, the Chief Security Office (CSO), Mr. Iwara referred news men to the school Public Relations Officer, Mr. Onen Onen, saying he was not around.

The PRO Onen confirmed the incident but said he can not ascertain if the student was killed by the DSS, adding that investigations are ongoing.

“I wouldn’t know who shot him, I wasn’t there. When it happened and I can’t say categorically; investigations are ongoing.
