AC Milan have reached an agreement with PSG to sign Portugal international centre-forward Gonçalo Ramos (25), according to The Athletic. The Rossoneri have reportedly broken their club record transfer fee to sign the 25-year-old striker, who is currently with Portugal’s 2026 World Cup squad. Milan’s previous record transfer belonged to Rafael Leão, who joined Lombardy from Lille OSC in a €50m move.
The Athletic reports that Milan’s outlay for Ramos represents the most significant purchase in modern Serie A history since Inter Milan’s €74m move for Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku. The outlet adds that Ramos undertook a medical in Florida and that newly-appointed Milan head coach Ruben Amorim played a pivotal role in his arrival.
Ramos will therefore leave PSG after three seasons in the French capital. In 131 games with Les Parisiens since 2023, Ramos logged 45 goals and ten assists. His last-ever kick for PSG occurred during the penalty shoot-out in the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal, in which he scored his attempt.
