Adeleke, Diri ‘buga Won’ After PDP Governorship Primary In Yenagoa

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke (Imole) and his Bayelsa State counterpart, Duoye Diri showcased their dancing skills after the latter was declared winner of the PDP Guber Primary at the Dr. Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Yenagoa.

Adeleke who chaired the PDP Electoral Committee to oversee the Bayelsa Primaries, announced the incumbent Governor as the only Candidate cleared to participate. Diri, a former Bayelsa Central Senator is seeking to vie for a second term in office after a Supreme Court decision brought him into office in February 2020.

Recall that the Bayelsa State Governor (represented by his Deputy) chaired the PDP Electoral Committee in Osun State that produced Senator Adeleke at the Primary as well as led the PDP National Campaign Council that saw Adeleke win the July 2022 Governorship Election.
