Adeleke: INEC Greatest Beneficiary Of Judgment – Oyetola Reacts To Victory

The immediate past governor of Osun state, Gboega Oyetola is celebrating his victory after the Election Tribunal nullified the election of Ademola Adeleke.

He described Friday’s verdict as a collective victory for the country’s democracy.

Oyetola, who said this while speaking with newsmen in his country home, Iragbiji, said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is the greatest beneficiary of the judgement, adding that there was no victor.

He said, “There is no victor, no vanquished. It’s a collective victory for our State and our nation’s democracy.

“I’m happy that the judgment resolved the controversy of the July 16 2022, governorship election.

“INEC is the greatest beneficiary of the judgment.”

Oyetola also thanked the people of Osun State and his supporters for their loyalty and for standing by him and the APC.
