A few seconds before the first conference, that of Tunisia, a person climbed on the stage, took the microphone and cables then left running, noted an AFP journalist. Officials tried to catch him, but he ran away.

According to a source close to the organizing committee (Cocan), it is a technician renting his equipment, furious at still not having been paid.

Journalists present on site gathered equipment and lent microphones and cables, but the room lacked a microphone and the media representatives asked their questions in a loud voice to be heard.

During the following press conference, that of Burkina Faso, the coach Kamou Malo and the player present, Adama Guira, even changed chairs to answer, in front of the only available microphone, the questions posed to one or the other.

Already in the previous match in Garoua, the round of 16 Tunisia-Nigeria, interpreters went on strike.
