Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was the center of attention as Vitesse 🆚 Sparta Rotterdam game ended prematurely.

🧤 The 22 year old saved a penalty in the 65th min of the second half to keep his team’s 1-nil lead only for the game to be interrupted by an angry Vitesse fan.

🏟 However, Okoye wasted no time in confronting the pitch invader and chased him off the pitch much to the displeasure of some sections of the home fans. A few minutes later, Okoye was floored after a beer bottle was thrown at him from the stands.

⏳ The match was stopped to allow the goalkeeper receive treatment before it was later officially suspended by the referee.
