APC Agent Caught on Camera Threatening Voters Who Won’t Vote APC to Go Home

In a shocking development during the ongoing presidential election, an agent of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been caught on camera threatening voters who refuse to vote for the party.

The incident occurred at a polling unit in one of the states where the election is being conducted. In the video footage, which has since gone viral on social media, the APC agent is seen brandishing a stick and warning voters to vote for his party or go home.

“If you don’t vote for APC, you will go home,” the agent can be heard saying in the video, which was shot by a concerned citizen who witnessed the incident.

The footage has sparked outrage across the country, with many people condemning the APC agent’s actions and calling for an investigation into the matter. Some have even called for the agent to be arrested and prosecuted for voter intimidation.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has also weighed in on the matter, condemning the agent’s behavior and vowing to take appropriate action. In a statement released to the media, INEC warned political parties and their agents to refrain from engaging in any form of voter intimidation or harassment.

“INEC strongly condemns any attempt by political parties or their agents to intimidate or harass voters during the election. We urge all parties to respect the rights of voters to choose their preferred candidates without fear or coercion,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, the APC has also released a statement disassociating itself from the actions of the agent in question. The party expressed its commitment to a free and fair election and urged all its agents to abide by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the poll.

The incident has once again brought to the fore the issue of voter intimidation in Nigerian elections. It is hoped that the relevant authorities will take swift action to ensure that the rights of voters are protected and that the election is conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner.
