APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe Faults Lloyd Ike Ekweremmadu For Having ‘Elaborate Wedding Ceremony’ Despite His Parents Being In Jail

APC chieftain, Joe Igbokwe has faulted Lloyd Ike Ekweremadu Jnr, for holding an “elaborate wedding” while his parents, Ike Ekweremadu, and Beatrice, are incarcerated in the UK.

Lloyd got married to his wife, Tiffany Adaobi Obinna-Uzor, at the Basilica of Grace, Anglican Communion, Gudu District Abuja, on Saturday, August 19, 2023. 

The former Deputy Senate President and his wife were absent as they are currently in the UK serving jail terms after they were found guilty of organ trafficking. 

Posting a photo from the wedding, Mr. Igbokwe said the new “generation scares him”

He stated that Lloyd was supposed to do a low-key ceremony and wait till his parents are free before he can have a big one.

“If I were to be Ekweremmadu’s son I would not have staged this elaborate wedding ceremony with my father and mother in prison. I would have done a low keymarriage ceremony and wait till my parents are free. This generation scares me stiff.”
