“Are you God?” – Man lash out at lady for snubbing his chats

A young Nigerian lady has sparked outrage on social media after sharing a TikTok video mocking a man whose messages she consistently ignored.

In the viral clip, the lady revealed that since exchanging phone numbers with the man, she had never replied to his chats despite his persistent attempts to communicate with her.

To further ridicule him, she posted a voice note where he emotionally confronted her out of frustration over being ignored.

The man ranted, “I’ve been texting you for a while, you wont reply. For me collecting your number that day I am regretting it. Someone I collected her number that wont chat me; Are you God? You dont know who I am and dont kow the kind of person chatting you. It’s not everyone you look down on. I will be texting you and you won’t reply, you are not God na; life is not like that.”

Captioning the video, she wrote:
“You gave a random guy your number and didn’t reply him 😂😂😂.”

The video quickly attracted backlash, with many social media users criticizing her for publicly humiliating the man.

A social media user @emperorzola reacted, “If I dey chat girl and she no dey respond well I don move to the next one. Na the one wey serious na him I dey give my attention. Na too much bfs dey worry them. I no go let you use me count scores.”

Another user @NwokeAkwaeze added, “She Dey her prime. She go still calm down. You sef go chase money naw 😂.”
