
A post by a Nigerian lady about her ex boyfriend’s unexpected response to morning devotion has gone viral online.
In an X post, the lady disclosed that the incident occurred after she slept over at her ex-boyfriend’s house.

Identified as @Sonysydarlin on X (formerly Twitter), the lady disclosed that around 6am she woke her ex-boyfriend up for morning devotion.
In a surprising twist, he warned her off against involving him.
”This guy opened his eyes, looked at me and said, “Never try that again. If you want to pray, pray to your Jesus and leave me out of it”, She stated, recounting the incident.
According to the X user, morning devotion is a household routine for her family, except on Sundays.
She informed her female friends about the incident, leaving them bursting with laughter.
Meanwhile, the tweet has gone viral on X, sparking reactions from users.
Blue Pandra remarked, “You were trying to build a “godly” relationship. If there’s ever a next time, try building a “Godly” relationship. Why won’t he tell you to pray to your “Jesus”.
Sidney Jay stated, “There’s nothing wrong in what you did. The only issue however is that there was no prior discussion of your intent. Why be in a relationship if we can’t pray together?”.
Olumide Babatunde wrote, “Two different home. Two different lives,devotion is always a must for us”.
