A Nigerian lawyer,Confidence Aribibia, has disclosed that it is a breach of a woman’s privacy rights by asking for her body count.
Taking to her Facebook page, the lawyer explained that the right to privacy is a constitutional right hence it is unlawful for a man to question a woman about her body count even if they are dating.
She added that if the woman voluntarily tells a man about her body count then there is no breach of privacy however, pressuring or harassing a woman to reveal the number of sexual partners she has had is a breach to privacy.
In her words;
“Asking a woman about her body count is a breach of her right to privacy. Even if she is your fiancée learn to respect boundaries. If she voluntarily tells you there is no breach of privacy but pressuring, harassing, or intimidating her into revealing the number of s£xual partners she has had is an invasion of her right to privacy. Mind you, the right to privacy is a constitutional right,” she wrote.
