A baby was swept away by flood during a torrential rainfall today, October 9, in Langbodoko, Oyo State. 

The child’s mother was said to have left her outside with her little brother during the heavy downpour, and then went inside their house. When she returned, she discovered that the child had been swept away by the flood. 

The lifeless body of the child was later retrieved after the rain stopped.
