Barcelona on Wednesday confirmed that the club have reached an agreement to sign Chelsea target, Raphinha, from Leeds United.

Barcelona finally beat competition from Chelsea to sign Raphinha from Leeds.

Recall that Chelsea were keen to sign the Brazilian international this summer.

In a statement via its website, Barcelona said, “FC Barcelona and Leeds United Football Club have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Raphael Dias Belloli, Raphinha, pending the player passing his medical.

“His first club in Europe was Portuguese side Vitòria Guimaraes from where he moved on to Sporting Clube de Portugal for 6.5 million euros.”
