Barcelona want Manchester City defenders Eric Garcia and João Cancelo as the La Liga giants aim to add some reinforcement to their defence.

The swap between Semedo and Cancelo is seemingly back on the table but Barça also want Pep Guardiola’s young centre-back, Eric García.

Barcelona is keen on finding a long term replacement for Gerard Pique and they are in talks with Pep Guardiola’s team to re-sign Garcia and a swap deal including Nelson Semedo and Joao Cancelo.

Seemed would be included in the deal to sign new reinforcement as he seems surplus to requirement at the Camp Nou under manager Quique Setein.

Barcelona is prepared to apply the same approach when they sign Pique from Manchester United after they initial sell the defender to the Old Trafford giants.

Barcelona is also keen on making some marquee signing with Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar on top of their priority list and Inter Milan Lautaro Martinez also one of the big names linked with a move to Camp Nou.
