Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati has beaten Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to La Liga award with just a few months into the season.

The Spanish international was named Player of the Month in LaLiga Santander for September, the attacker was chosen as the recipient of the award for his outstanding performance for Barcelona, he scored three goals in the Blaugrana’s opening two league games of the season, including a double against Villarreal at the Camp Nou.

The attacker scored his opener against Celta Vigo at Balaidos, Fati beat the likes of Celta’s Iago Aspas, Atletico Madrid’s Luis Suarez, Real Betis’ Sergio Canales, Levante’s Jose Luis Morales, Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino and Granada’s Luis Milla.

The 17-year-old starlet is the only player to have scored two goals for the Blaugrana this season.

Fati is joint top of the scoring charts in LaLiga alongside with Aspas, Morales, Maxi Gomez, Paco Alcacer and Gerard Moreno.
