Ben Bruce predicts Davido to be a Osun’s Governor in future

Former senator and media entrepreneur, Ben Murray-Bruce, believes music star Davido may have more than just platinum records in his future — he could one day govern Osun State.

Murray-Bruce shared this opinion in a recent video message, pointing to Davido’s strong political lineage. His uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, is the current Governor of Osun, while another uncle, the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, previously held the same position during the Babangida era.

Murray-Bruce described Davido as a “political animal” with clear ideological leanings — a side many fans may not be aware of. He added that if nurtured strategically, Davido’s popularity and influence could translate into a viable political career.

“Considering the DNA of the Adeleke family… the thought that Davido could one day aspire to become the Governor of Osun State seems more like a potential trajectory,” Murray-Bruce said.

He also noted the increasing calls for entertainers to step into politics, citing their unique ability to connect across demographics and bring fresh energy to Nigeria’s political scene.

“Davido, if you run, I predict you will win,” he concluded.
