Bill Gates pledges $200B to Africa in landmark donation

Renowned businessman, Bill Gates has pledged nearly his entire personal wealth,$200 billion, to the Gates Foundation by 2045, with a significant portion directed towards Africa.

This landmark donation aims to address pressing global issues, particularly reducing child and maternal mortality, infectious diseases, and poverty.

The majority of the funding will be allocated to Africa, where the Gates Foundation has been working for over two decades to address these pressing issues.

The foundation has already supported over 100 innovations and helped save more than 80 million lives in Africa.
