Nollywood actor Linc Edochie is giving his younger brother, Yul Edochie, his flowers — and he’s doing it with full chest.
Taking to Instagram, Linc shared an emotional tribute to Yul, revealing how it was the controversial actor who encouraged him to return to the film industry after years away.
“Blood is thicker than water,” Linc began. “A lot of people don’t know this; it was my brother Yul that asked me to come back to the Film Industry in 2015 after a prolonged absence.”
While Linc admitted that procrastination delayed his return, he finally listened to Yul’s advice in 2020 — and he hasn’t looked back since.
“Some of the things I do in movies, he taught me,” Linc wrote, adding that Yul is a theatre professional, while he himself simply had a passion for acting.
He didn’t hold back on praise either:
“Love him or hate him, this man remains one of the greatest actors and filmmakers in this country. Ezedike @yuledochie, mmuo ka I bu. GOD bless you always.”
The heartfelt message has stirred reactions online, especially given the controversies that have followed Yul in recent years — from personal life drama to public backlash. But for Linc, family is family, and respect is due.
“Blood is blood,” one commenter wrote. “Despite everything, this was such a mature and honest post.”
Another said, “It’s good to see Linc speak up. Sometimes people forget Yul’s talent because of all the noise.”
