Brother cuts ties with sister after phone gift is stolen a day after purchase

A young lady has taken to social media in tears as she seeks help to reconcile with her elder brother, who has refused to speak to her for the past five months after the phone he bought for her was stolen just a day after gifting it.

This emotional plea was shared in a video posted to her TikTok page.

In the clip, her face is shown alongside a caption that reads: “No one knows my big brother stopped talking to me because he got me a new phone and it was stolen the next day.”

She added that all she’s left with is the phone’s receipt, its pouch, and a deep sense of guilt. “It’s been five months and he hasn’t said anything to me. It hurts. If only the thief knew the damage they’ve caused. I miss my brother,” she lamented.

Further describing her pain, she wrote: “Please, everyone should help me beg my brother. I’m sorry. Yes, it cost him a lot because it was an iPhone, but I don’t even know how it got stolen.”

As the video made its way online, concerned viewers flooded the comments with sympathy and messages of support.
