Businessman calls out Davido over  ₦176M “theft”

A Nigerian businessman, claims singer Davido is a thief as he takes to Instagram to reveal ₦176 million was paid into the account but he failed to turn up for shoots.

He added that the total money spent by his management exceeded over 200 million naira, and now he’s being dragged to court over the incident.

He made this statement on his Instagram page amid claims that Davido failed to show up for a show in Warri, Delta State, after receiving payment for the said show.

On his Instagram page, @abusalamiofficial wrote: “Davido, honestly, it’s shameful that, though you appear rich, you’re not a classy guy. While you might be loved by many, you are actually a thief.”

Responding to a follower’s comment, he revealed more details:

“₦176 million paid directly to his account, further cancellation of 3 shoots, plus hotel bills he made me pay for him, totaling over ₦200 million. If I wasn’t strong, I would have gone mad. What else is industry bullying? Sponsors have dragged me to court.”
