Caucasian couple go viral as they adopt the Nigerian culture on their wedding day (video)

Nigerian wedding traditions seem to be gaining international appeal. 

A Caucasian couple getting married decided to have a Nigerian-themed wedding and a video from the event is going viral. 

The couple opted to make their wedding clothes with materials used by Nigerians to make traditional attires. Their guests also wore Nigerian traditional outfits and they had friends dressed in asọ-ebi.

They had a DJ playing Nigerian music and, during the reception, they played several games that feature in Nigerian weddings. 

They also had entertainment from different Nigerian cultural dance troupes. 

While some people may call it cultural appropriation,  others have pointed out that Nigerians have white weddings, which is the White man’s traditional wedding.
