55 year old Alhaji Ahmed Rufai Sani Yerima was Governor of Zamfara State, Nigeria from May 1999 to May 2007, and is now Senator for Zamfara West and Deputy Minority Leader in the Senate.

He was also in the news for reportedly divorcing his 17-year old Egyptian wife to marry a 15-year old.
