A social media user, Miandy, has sparked a fresh debate online after reacting to a controversial post about marriage, domestic help and women working outside the home.

Miandy responded to a post by Shadaya Knight, who argued that a man sleeping with his maid should not automatically be considered wrong because hiring a maid supposedly means a wife cannot attend to all her husband’s needs.

In her response, Miandy drew a comparison between the maid argument and women having jobs while married.

She wrote, “Clock it King. Just like there’s nothing wrong with sleeping with colleagues, the moment your husband allows you to go out and work instead of making you a fully provided-for rich housewife, he’s basically confessing he can’t meet every single one of your needs.”
