Close your ears to critics – Friends celebrate as Bayelsa Deputy Governor’s media aide marries second wife

The Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Clement Ovokeroye Paul, has taken a second wife, Destiny Raymond. 

The marriage ceremony was held on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Recall that Clement officially married the mother of his children three years ago after 20 years together.

Meanwhile, his friends have taken to Facebook to congratulate him for taking Destiny as his new wife.

They also advised him to ignore critics, saying that in Ijawland, there is nothing like first and second wife. 

One Azibanigha Festus Joseph, wrote: “Congratulations to my good friend Clement Ovokeroye Paul on your newly married wife. In Ijaw there is nothing like first and second wife. All wives are the same but we recognised seniority. OPERATION PUT THE GIRLS OUT OF FRONT OF ASTERS AND HAMILTON GARDEN. THE EMBARRASSMENT WE HAVE ENTERING SOUTH COAST IS ENOUGH FOR ONE MAN TWO WIVES AND ABOVE IN IJAW LAND.”

I wish you a fruitful and prosperous home. Many will criticize you but they will never understand until they find themselves in same position, continue to live happily and close your ears to critics who are nothing but hypocrites in their own form.”
