DAILY NIGERIAN reports that as escalation in the cases of COVID-19 infections in the country forces some states to shut down schools, resurgence of abduction and banditry forces others to take the decision.
In the wake of mass abductions of schoolboys in Kankara, the Katsina State Government shut all boarding schools in the state, while the Zamfara State Government, which shares borders with Katsina, took a similar decision to forestall recurrence of the Kankara incident.
