Bamidele Alli, pipped teammate Harry Kane to win the PFA Young Player of the Year award at Grosvenor House in London on Sunday. The latter failed to retain the award he won 12 months ago after both enjoyed a sparkling campaign for Spurs.

Alli did not attend the award ceremony because of their Premier League game against West Brom on monday evening. But was represented by Tottenham Sporting Director Osvaldo Ardiles.
