Cubana Chief Priest names Dave Umahi ‘second worst minister southeast ever had’

Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has criticised ministers from the Southeast, calling on President Bola Tinubu to replace those he believes have failed to deliver meaningful results for the region.

His comments followed an incident in which a microphone was reportedly snatched from Minister of Works Dave Umahi during an APC function.

Reacting to the incident, Cubana Chief Priest described Umahi as one of the worst ministers the Southeast had produced, arguing that the region had little to show despite having a minister overseeing the works portfolio.

“The second to worst minister Southeast ever had. We have nothing to show for it as a region that had minister of works,” he said.

He also criticised a female minister from Imo State, describing her as a “fluke of a minister,” and urged Tinubu to replace ministers he considers ineffective.

Cubana Chief Priest further complained that the Southeast had not benefited sufficiently from the appointments of ministers from the region, including those who had served in the finance and trade and investment portfolios.

He also questioned the electoral value of some of the appointments, claiming that the minister from his state could not deliver even 1,000 votes for Tinubu.

“No impact, no level na boys just use mama cash out,” he added, accusing some appointees of benefiting personally without delivering meaningful results for the region.
