In 2019, Daley Blind was diagnosed with Myocarditis, an Inflammation of the Heart Muscle and underwent a heart surgery. During the 2019-20 season, he collapsed on the ground twice in the space of 1 year. He plays with a pace-maker (a ICD machine) in his body these days.
