Chidera Ejuke has arrived Berlin, German capital, to undergo the obligatory medical before joining Hertha Berlin on loan from CSKA Moscow, according to Kicker.

Ejuke’s delayed arrival was due to the player awaiting his visa from the German embassy in Moscow.

Upon completion of the medical, Ejuke will then travel to Hertha’s training camp in Burton-upon-Trent, where he will meet his new teammates.

The 24-year-old made use of the new FIFA regulations that allow players in Russia and Ukraine to suspend their contracts.

The former Heerenveen star made 55 appearances for the Russian giants and scored 10 goals.

Meanwhile, Hertha Berlin appointed Sandro Schwarz as head coach last month but have been relatively quiet in the transfer window.

Filip Uremović and Jonjoe Kenny arrived on free transfers whilst Ivan Šunjić has joined the Bundesliga club on loan from Birmingham City.
