Barcelona earned another three points following the 2-0 win over Elche thanks to Frenkie de Jong and Ricard Puig.

Frenkie de Jong’s goal was what made the difference in the first half and a late second-half goal from substitute Puig ensured Barcelona claimed a comfortable three points against the home team.

With the three points in the bag, Barcelona maintain the third spot on La Liga table with seven points behind the leaders Atletico Madrid who has two games in hand.
