#ENDSARS: Nigerian Government Are Killers – Ighalo

Manchester United forward Odion Ighalo has condemned the Nigerian government for allegedly sending soldiers to ‘kill’ innocent card carrying protesters.

Young Nigerians have been protesting against police brutality for weeks in a sweeping move that got the attention of the whole country, with the government promising reform after putting an end to Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

However, the youths were not satisfied after the government went ahead an renamed them S.W.A.T – insisting a proper reform be carried out and the hashtag #ENDSARS has been one of the highest trending topics in the world.

Following, the Red Devils 2-1 away victory over Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League, Ighalo took to his official twitter account and posted a short video with a clear message to the Nigerian government and loved ones back home.
