“Even if it N200…” – Lady laments after friend refused to help her with transport fare

A lady has shared her disappointment after claiming that a longtime male friend refused to help her with transport fare shortly after she turned down his request for a romantic relationship.

Lady claims friend refused to assist after rejection

According to the lady, she had just closed from her industrial training (IT) placement when the man asked her out.

She said she politely declined the proposal, explaining that she preferred to remain friends because she did not want to enter a relationship that might not last.

She further said that after leaving work, she found herself stranded without enough money to get home.

Hoping her friend would assist, she said she reached out to him and requested ₦1,000, before reducing the amount to ₦500 when he declined the initial request.

Story sparks mixed reactions online

Recounting the incident, the lady said, “Guys, I just closed from my IT place now and this my friend that we’ve been friends for some time now asked me out. I told him no that I just want normal friendship and I feel like we can be okay as friends. I don’t want relationship because e fit no last.”

She continued, “So now I’m going home and I don’t have N5 to go home so i begged this guy for 1k he did not give me. I said even if it’s N500 he did not give me. But for my front, he gave a lady 5k just to go home. I don’t know what to say but it’s okay. Now I’m stranded and the God of Innocence will judge him. Even if it N200 you could not give me to enter bike because I refused to have a relationship with you. I pray that girl breaks your heart and break it and break it.”
