Ex President Of Liberia Deletes Congratulatory Tweet To President-Elect Bola Tinubu

Former president of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has deleted a tweet in which she congratulated Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The stateswoman had taken to her Twitter page to congratulate the former Lagos state governor on emerging the president.

She had extended her congratulations to the Nigerian people for exercising their democratic right in deciding their next ruler.

However, for some reasons unknown to us, the former president deleted the tweet she earlier made.

It read:

“Congratulations to @officialABAT on his victory in #Nigeria, and to the Nigerian people for exercising their democratic right to vote. I encourage the new President to champion #WomenLeaders in his government and to ensure that the rights of women & girls remain a priority.”
