Fans applaud Davido for supporting Imade at school’s cultural day

Afrobeats star Davido is receiving widespread praise from fans and social media users for putting aside personal differences with his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, and showing up for their daughter, Imade Adeleke, during her school’s cultural day event.

The singer, despite his ongoing custody dispute with Sophia, was seen actively participating in the celebration at Imade’s school.

A now-viral video captured the proud father present as Imade confidently represented Osun State, her state of origin, in traditional Aso Oke attire while giving a heartfelt speech on why Osun is the best state in Nigeria.

The singer could be heard cheering his daughter in the background of the video, expressing how proud he was of his little angel.

The gesture comes just days after Davido also attended Imade’s birthday celebration. While many noticed Davido’s effort to strengthen the bond between him and his daughter, fans have continued to commend the singer for showing up regardless of the circumstances.
