Ghanaian Man Marries Longtime Girlfriend Via Video Call (Photo)

A USA-based Ghanaian man has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend through a virtual wedding, igniting widespread debate online as someone held the bride’s hand for him!

Viral footage from the ceremony shows the groom attending via FaceTime while someone physically present stood in for him, holding the bride’s hands on his behalf. A microphone was placed near the phone so he could recite his vows. Despite the effort to make the ceremony appear normal, the bride’s straight-faced expression throughout the event raised eyebrows.

Social media users had mixed reactions. One person asked, “What’s the difference between this and a spiritual marriage?”

while another questioned, “What’s the point of getting married if it’s virtual?” However, others defended the couple, saying that love is what truly matters.
