Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is preparing life after Leroy Sane as he tips Spanish attacker as his replacement at the Etihad, according to report.

Guardiola is planning to bring in another Spanish star Mikel Oyarzabal to replace the Bayern Munich target, the Real Sociedad attacker scored 28 goals for the past two seasons and was sensational for the Spanish under 21 team in the European Championship.Sane was constantly linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the last summer before he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in Manchester City’s Community Shield penalty-shootout victory over Liverpool in August which ruled him out of the entire season.

Oyarzabal has been in red hot form and has displayed a consistent performance for Real Sociedad and his form earned him his first Spanish call up against Sweden in the Euro 2020 qualifying in June, he scored on his debut for La Furia Roja against Sweden.The Real Sociedad academy graduate contract expires in 2024 but the Basque club will let go of their forward if Manchester City meet his release clause of  £67million in his contract.
