‘He couldn’t confront erosion in Anambra, He ran away. I confronted the Atlantic Ocean’ – Tinubu tackles Obi

President Tinubu on Friday, November 6, took a swipe at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi, comparing his time as governor of Anambra State to when he, Tinubu, served as governor of Lagos state.

“Here we are on a resort claimed from erosion, and you want to compare the brain of this man(Pastor Bassey Eno) to that of Obi? He ran away from erosion in Anambra. He ran away and he wants to be President, President of where??”he asked

Speaking further, he said

“In Anambra State, he could not confront erosion. I, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, confronted the Atlantic Ocean,” the President said.

He described the move as evidence of a lack of leadership character, asking supporters whether such conduct demonstrated the qualities required of a leader.
