A state lawmaker is set to be recalled as signatures are already being gathered by INEC.

The Independent and National Electoral Commission has began the process to recall a Lagos House of Assembly member who used COVID-19 palliatives as birthday sourvenir. 

According to Pulse, field officers have commenced a door-to-door campaign to gather enough signatures to officially commence the recall of Mojisola Alli-Macaulay from the Lagos House of Assembly.

Over 50% of registered voters in Amuwo Odofin Constituency I must sign the recall register. 

Recall that the Lawmaker also recently referred to Nigerian youths as ‘high on hard drugs‘ which got her bashed online, and forced angry youths to demand for her recall.
