In a podcast interview with media personality Wunmi Bello, a voodoo practitioner shared an account of how a mother’s prayer prevented her from casting a spell on a man.

During the podcast discussion, the voodoo practitioner explained that she had become upset with a man she intended to place a spell on. She asserted that she possessed the ability to influence events in people’s lives and attempted to cast a spell on the man.

She went on to describe how she conducted a ritual involving lighting something, ensuring it burned. However, the ritual only burned for a brief moment before extinguishing itself. In a surprising turn of events, a spiritual entity whispered to her for the first time, advising her not to proceed with the ritual.

Despite this warning, she was obstinate and tried the ritual once more, but it failed to ignite. The spiritual entity then conveyed that she could not proceed because the man’s mother was praying for him.
