How An Innocent Uniabuja Female Student Was Accused A Thief

FALSELY ACCUSED STUDENT FINDS GRACE
A phone was stolen on Sunday 6/03/2016. The Phone belong to one sister Blessing from the department of history and diplomacy 300level. According to her, the phone is a Gionee product with he serial number “BM11/27″. The phone went missing in the conference room at the female hostel where they do read. The phone was found on the 15/03/2016. Kikelómó an 100level student from the department of banking and finance was falsely accused of stealing the phone. She was accused by the real thief Halima. She pleaded innocent but the plea fell on deaf ears. She was being beaten by students and was dragged in an embarrassing way to d security unit where she was locked up in cell. Her photo was snapped and posted on most social networks.
The FACTS from kikilómó :
Am very close to sister Blessing, she met ne and told me she was looking for her phone. She asked me to search the room which I didn’t because I trusted them. I have stayed with them for so long. On Sunday 13/03/2016, Faith and I where about to go to church, Faith forgot her lipstick and had to go back. When she came back, she told me that she saw sister Blessings’ phone in teggas’ bag. Tegga is a friend and an accomplice to Halima and they are both students from the department of business administration 100level. I didn’t believe her until the day Halima and Tegga where not around. We went to check their bag and found the phone. We took it and gave it to one of our friend Nike, who Also suspect them.
When they returned, they searched the bag but couldn’t find the phone. They called me and asked me in yoruba if am the kind of friend that do spoil friends plan and i said ‘no’. They knew I know about the phone so a friend of theirs Toyin who was also present told me that if I don’t produce the phone that I would regret it. I said nothing their is nothing that you would do to me, the Lord is my strength.
Nike returned the phone to sister blessing after confronting Halima and Tegga to produce the Sim. They denied not being with the Sim and went onto say that sister blessing should do a welcome back.
While I was passing by, Halima shouted ‘that’s the thief’. I was so surprised because I didn’t see that coming. Before I could defend my self, students gathered and dragged me to the portress who believed Halima because Halima spoke Hausa to her. I was beaten and taken to the security unit where I was locked up. I would have been expelled along with Halima and Tegga but the man in charge was merciful and said the guilty should apologize to the innocent.
When we left the senate by 11:30, Halima came to apologize to me in the room. I was in so much pain that all I could say was” God will punish you”. That was when Nike shouted that the real thief has confessed. Students in the hostel gathered and would have beaten her if not for the locked doors. Halima was dragged to the security unit where the angry students demanded a photo of her since they were told not to beat her.
Tegga left only kikelómó to bear the consequences of their crime alone.
My name and photo is on net, maybe if they post hers too it would cleanse my name.
According to kikilómó, Halima and Tegga were not the only accomplice, Toyin and sister Josephine were also involved.
