I Don’t Know What You Were Looking At – Reece James Blasts Referees After Chelsea Draw

Chelsea right-wing-back, Reece James has hit the referees for their draw with Tottenham in the second day of the Premier League on Sunday.

This was after Antonio Conte’s side scored two contentious goals.

The Blues took the lead in the first-half, thanks to Kalidou Koulibaly’s stunner and dominated the game until Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equalised for the visitors.

Blues’ boss, Thomas Tuchel and his players felt that Kai Havertz was obviously fouled by Rodrigo Bentancur in the build-up to the goal, while Richarlison was offside.

England international, James then scored what Chelsea thought was the winner, with just 13 minutes to play after a well-worked move.

But it was not to be as Tottenham’s talisman, Harry Kane headed past Mendy deep into stoppage time to make it 2-2.

And again Chelsea felt the goal should not have been allowed as replay showed Cristian Romero fouling Marc Cucurella just prior.

“There were two arguable goals for them. I think the referees and the fourth official need to look back on them. It’s frustrating for us when you deserve to win the game.

‘I don’t know what they [the officials] were looking at,” he told reporters after the game.
